Chapter 119: I Want to Have Your Baby
Page 1/3
Song Chengyi looked at the face so close to his own, her breath warm against his skin.
His Adam’s apple bobbed slightly...
“Hmm, Song Chengyi... tell me, am I beautiful or not?” Luo Yixia seemed dissatisfied with his silence.
“You’re beautiful,” Song Chengyi replied with some difficulty, then tried to pull her hands away.
But Luo Yixia held on tighter, her strength inexplicably strong. No matter how many times Song Chengyi tugged, he couldn’t free himself.
“Xia Xia... be good,” Song Chengyi coaxed helplessly.
“Song Chengyi...” Luo Yixia nestled in his embrace, softly murmuring his name over and over.
“Hmm?” Song Chengyi raised an eyebrow and looked down at her.
“Husband...” Luo Yixia whispered.
Song Chengyi was momentarily stunned.
“Song Chengyi... no, I mean husband,” Luo Yixia held him tighter and repeated the word sweetly.
Seeing him remain silent, Luo Yixia pouted in dissatisfaction.
Leaning forward slightly, she planted a gentle kiss on his lips.
Watching Song Chengyi still unresponsive, she asked, her cheeks flushed, tilting her head, “Why aren’t you saying anything?”
“What did you just call me?” Song Chengyi inquired.
“Husband~ ah~”
“Good girl,” Song Chengyi said, a warmth spreading through his chest as he reached out to stroke her hair.
“You’ve never called me ‘wife’...” Luo Yixia looked at him with displeasure.
“Uh...” Song Chengyi was caught off guard.
“You say it~” Luo Yixia looked up at him expectantly.
“...”
“Say it... follow me... wife...” Luo Yixia seriously coached him.
“Okay, following your lead... wife...” Song Chengyi teased, his mood light.
“No, no, don’t say the first part... just say wife...” Luo Yixia grew impatient, wondering how he could be so slow.
“Alright, skipping the first part, wife...” he repeated.
“Song Chengyi! How can you be this dumb... you can’t even learn this,” Luo Yixia scolded him, frustrated.
“It’s late, time to sleep,” Song Chengyi gently brushed the hair from her face.
“Not late, not sleeping! You haven’t called me wife yet... say it!!!” Luo Yixia pushed him onto the bed with force.
She looked down at him triumphantly.
“Stop fussing,” Song Chengyi soothed her.
“Say it for me,” Luo Yixia opened her eyes wide, staring at him.
Song Chengyi found her unbearably cute.
“If you don’t say it, I’ll have to tease you,” Luo Yixia threatened with a wicked glare.
“How will you tease me?” Song Chengyi lay back, hands behind his head, mock-submissive.
“I... want to sleep with you,” Luo Yixia pouted, planting another kiss on his lips.
She began tugging at his clothes.
Song Chengyi felt rather uncomfortable with her antics.
“Song Chengyi, your mom... and my mom... keep urging me every day... but you never sleep with me...” Luo Yixia said, then kissed his Adam’s apple.
“Do you know what you’re doing right now?” Song Chengyi gritted his teeth, struggling to look at her.
“Of course... I want to have babies with you...” Luo Yixia smiled foolishly.
Song Chengyi couldn’t bear it anymore and turned around sharply. “Luo Yixia, you asked for it.”
“I didn’t ask for you...” Luo Yixia pouted, looking at him with innocent eyes. How could Song Chengyi accuse her so unfairly...
Song Chengyi smiled and reached to pull at her clothes again...
But when he looked back up, the little one had already fallen asleep...
He sighed helplessly, “You’re a tormenting little demon.”
He covered her with a blanket and went to the bathroom...
“Ah, my throat hurts so much,” Luo Yixia turned over.

Song Chengyi beside her was still asleep.
Sunlight streamed through the curtains, casting light over him.
Luo Yixia looked at him against the light.
How was his skin even better than hers? She was reluctant... jealous.
Suddenly, Song Chengyi’s eyes opened.
“You’re awake?” Luo Yixia immediately smiled sweetly.
Song Chengyi gave her a faint glance.
Luo Yixia blinked, sensing a familiar look in his eyes...
Why did it carry a hint of grievance? What had she done last night?
She couldn’t remember... she had gone drinking...
Drinking...
Luo Yixia swallowed hard... a bad premonition settled.
“Awake?” Song Chengyi’s voice was cool.
“Yes,” Luo Yixia nodded firmly.
“Are you sober now?”
“Yes, yes.”
Song Chengyi got out of bed.
Luo Yixia felt uncomfortable and tried to act cute and pitiful: “My head hurts... my throat too...”
“Heh...” Song Chengyi gave her another cold glance.
Watching him go to wash up, Luo Yixia quickly followed.
They sat at the dining table eating breakfast.
Luo Yixia looked at him several times, finally asking cautiously, “I got drunk last night, what about my dorm mates?”
“I dropped them off at the school gate,” Song Chengyi replied without looking up.
“Oh, so you brought me back... haha... um... did I cause trouble last night?” Luo Yixia watched his expression carefully.
Song Chengyi paused, then looked up with a smile.
Ah, you’re cheating... Song Chengyi, don’t smile like that, it makes me nervous...
“Do you remember what you said last night?” Song Chengyi asked.
She shook her head.
“Want me to remind you?”
Luo Yixia nodded, then shook her head again.
“You actually behaved quite well. Your drinking was decent,” Song Chengyi said lightly.
Luo Yixia sighed in relief... good, it seemed she hadn’t embarrassed herself too badly.
“You just kept holding me and calling me husband, and made me call you wife,” Song Chengyi said calmly.
Luo Yixia covered her face—being shameless like that was definitely her style.
“Feeling embarrassed now?” Song Chengyi looked at her and continued, “You also tugged at my clothes and nibbled on me.”
Luo Yixia’s face flushed redder than even when she was drunk last night.
Had she really lost all shame?
“Oh, and you said I never sleep with you, and that you want to have babies with me,” Song Chengyi added, taking a sip of milk.
Luo Yixia was floating in her own thoughts—she mentally gave herself a slap.
“Though we evolved from apes, you probably can’t have babies with me.”
Luo Yixia kept her head down, quietly eating, not responding.
It was over—she’d lost all dignity... utterly mortified...
Who told her to drink last night...
After breakfast, Song Chengyi drove Luo Yixia to school. She was completely distracted.
“Seatbelt,” Song Chengyi called once, but Luo Yixia didn’t respond.
“Luo Yixia?” Song Chengyi called again. She finally turned to him.
“What?” she asked.
Song Chengyi didn’t speak, only pointed to the seatbelt.

“Oh.” Luo Yixia fastened it, then drifted off again.
Song Chengyi watched her quietly as he drove.
Suddenly, Luo Yixia seemed to remember something and instantly perked up.
She turned to Song Chengyi, blinking with wide curious eyes.
“So, did you call me?”
Song Chengyi, focused on driving, didn’t react immediately. “What?”
“Ah, you know, last night I was drunk, and you said I kept clinging to you and made you say... wife, right? Did you say it?”
Song Chengyi stared at her, all traces of shyness gone...
Perhaps it was a physiological thing? Even as a medical student, he couldn’t read her emotional shifts.
“Did you say it?” Luo Yixia pressed.
“Ahem... yes, I did.”
“Really? How many times?”
“You don’t remember, so why are you asking?”
“It’s different! This was the first time you called me that—I have to remember it in my little notebook!”
“Oh.” Song Chengyi’s heart fluttered again, incredulous...
“But I don’t really remember; I was drunk,” Luo Yixia said, disappointed.
“Forget it if you don’t remember,” Song Chengyi said softly, though he was feeling a little guilty—he hadn’t really called her.
“Then say it again so I can hear,” Luo Yixia smiled sweetly.
“Luo Yixia, I’m driving, don’t cause trouble,” Song Chengyi quickly changed the subject.
Luo Yixia pouted... stingy... it wouldn’t hurt to say it once, why be so petty?
She spent the rest of the drive sulking.
Song Chengyi was relieved to have escaped that little episode... Still, why was he so eager to avoid saying ‘wife’?
Maybe it just wasn’t the right time yet.
The car pulled into the parking lot.
Luo Yixia bent over, glanced around left and right, found no one, and without a word, dashed off.
Song Chengyi watched her comical gait and smiled mischievously.
Luo Yixia reached the dorm, found the door locked and the place empty.
After messaging, she learned there was a class upstairs.
Her wooden head, what was she thinking? All she could think about was Song Chengyi...
She hurried to the classroom, which was already in session.
The room was packed; Gan Yanyan spotted her peeking in from the back door and waved her over.
Luo Yixia crouched down, watching the political theory teacher at the podium, passionately lecturing with spit flying, inching toward her seat.
Luckily, she’d originally sat near the back, close to the door, so it wasn’t far.
Once settled, she realized she’d forgotten her book.
Gan Yanyan disdainfully nudged her books over.
Lin Ya leaned over from Gan Yanyan’s side and whispered, “Hey, sober now?”
Luo Yixia rolled her eyes. “It’s almost noon.”
“Can’t tell, your tolerance’s pretty good. Let’s drink again some time,” Lin Ya laughed.
“I spit on you, old man, I’m never drinking again,” Luo Yixia vowed firmly. Every time she drank, she embarrassed herself, and this time she was practically lost for words...
Gan Yanyan and Lin Ya immediately sensed gossip brewing.
“What happened? Any fun stories? Tell us, let’s have a laugh.”
“Go away, I’m mortified,” Luo Yixia covered her face.
“Come on, tell us.”
“Don’t talk to me, I’m miserable,” Luo Yixia whined softly.
