Dear readers, this is where I must bring this novel to an end. Despite the many shortcomings of this work, there were still lovely souls who continued to support me.

I believe you have all noticed that my updates have been inconsistent and lacked a set schedule. This was partly due to my work commitments and partly because my health has not been well, making it difficult for me to sit in front of a computer for long periods.

To me, this book is far from perfect. As my first attempt at writing, it was delayed for various reasons, and since the pandemic ended, my free time has dwindled even further, leaving me with no energy left to dedicate to writing.

I am deeply grateful to all the wonderful readers who have supported my work throughout this time. I, Xiang Shangshan, would like to express my heartfelt thanks to you all. Thank you for your support. Thank you for your long-standing encouragement and for the valuable feedback you provided.

Ending this book in such an abrupt way is a source of regret and sadness for me, but it also brings a sense of relief.

Thank you, and I apologize for these past months of support. I hope we might meet again, starting fresh—I believe I will be a brand-new version of myself, though I do not know if I will ever start another story.
