What a heartbreaking cry!

They say the child who cries gets the milk, so today I’ll have a good cry! After more than a month of writing, my trial run didn’t go well, and as soon as recommendations stopped, my bookmarks stalled at 2,500. Others have thirty or forty thousand before their books even launch, but by the time mine goes up, I’ll be lucky to have 3,000. I’m not sure my average subscriptions will even reach a hundred.

I’m feeling utterly dejected, binge eating out of frustration, and now I weigh 200 pounds. Could I at least get 200 average subscriptions? I beg you, dear readers, my benefactors, please support me!
