Chapter 121: The Sweeping Assault on Yunshan Sect! (3/3)
“Kill!”
Qin Feng’s gaze swept across the Cloud Mountain Sect as his fingers moved swiftly, releasing wave after wave of energy that severed the heads of numerous Human Kings, Commanders, and Guardians.
Even mid-stage Human Emperors were no match for Qin Feng. The mere Human Kings, Commanders, and Guardians stood no chance against his assault; they were slaughtered outright without so much as a struggle.
“Senior, I am not a martial cultivator of the Cloud Mountain Sect,” Hua Yunliang stammered, sensing a piercing gaze upon him followed by a lethal threat. His face twisted with panic and fear as he dropped to his knees and hurriedly spoke, “I am the sect leader of the Mountain and Water Sect. Previously, I offended the Cloud Mountain Sect and was forced to come here to bear my guilt.”
Thud.
Thud.
...
The five disciples of the Mountain and Water Sect, including Chu Yuehua, knelt down rapidly, their faces filled with terror.
Clang!
Clang!
Clang!
Qin Feng’s gaze skipped past Hua Yunliang as he unleashed energy to slay one Cloud Mountain Sect cultivator after another.
“Run!”
“Escape quickly!”
“Flee!”
Screams echoed throughout the Cloud Mountain Sect as a large number of cultivators scattered wildly, desperate to save their lives.
“Rise!”
After slaughtering every Cloud Mountain Sect disciple within sight, Qin Feng strode toward Hua Yunliang and the others.
“Junior thanks Your Majesty the Human Emperor for saving my life,” Hua Yunliang said nervously, trembling as he carefully rose, eyes filled with reverence and fear.
“Clean up the battlefield. Remember, no hoarding allowed, or I will wipe out the Mountain and Water Sect,” Qin Feng commanded forcefully.
“Yes, Your Majesty the Human Emperor,” Hua Yunliang replied hastily. “I would never dare to keep anything back.”
He looked around at the mountain of corpses and rivers of blood, his heart gripped by terror. This was a ruthless figure capable of destroying sects and clans on a whim; he dared not disobey such a man.
“Qin Huang,” Huang Tianlong arrived atop the peak, restraining a Human King-level cultivator. His eyes widened in shock as he surveyed the heaps of bodies.
“You’ve come just in time,” Qin Feng said swiftly. “I’ve already slain the three Human Emperor-level elites of the Cloud Mountain Sect.”
“Help me find the location of their treasure trove,” Qin Feng ordered as he searched the sect’s vault.
“The three Human Emperor-level elites have been slain?” Huang Tianlong almost fainted from astonishment.
“Are there any survivors?” Qin Feng’s gaze landed on the Human King-level captive Huang Tianlong held, a flicker of joy crossing his face.
“Tell me—where is the treasure trove?” Qin Feng’s eyes bore down on the Human King cultivator with imposing pressure as his cold voice demanded.
“You killed my master, destroyed my sect,” Zhou Yunhao, the Human King-level cultivator and first true disciple, glared furiously at Qin Feng. “Don’t expect to get any information from me!”
“If you won’t talk, I’ll find the treasure’s location myself,” Qin Feng said calmly. “There’s no need to insist. Besides, if I get it from you, you’ll undergo some pain. The end result is the same—why make things harder for yourself?”
“Hmph!” Zhou Yunhao snorted coldly, hatred and resentment burning in his gaze.
Crack.
Crack.
Crack.
Before Qin Feng could act, Huang Tianlong came to his senses and began snapping Zhou Yunhao’s fingers one by one.
“Ah!”
“Ah!”
Tormented screams echoed from Zhou Yunhao’s lips.
“Tell me where the treasure is, or I’ll carve wounds into your body, cover them with honey, and let ants crawl over you,” Huang Tianlong threatened coldly.
Hesitation flickered across Zhou Yunhao’s face.
Crack.
Crack.
Huang Tianlong wasted no time, breaking the rest of Zhou Yunhao’s fingers before he could react.
“I’ll talk! I’ll talk!” Zhou Yunhao cried out, glancing anxiously at Huang Tianlong’s gaze shifting toward his feet.
...
“Zhou Yunhao, you traitor! You’re unworthy of being a disciple of the Cloud Mountain Sect.”
When Zhou Yunhao led Qin Feng to the treasure vault, they encountered Elder Chen, a late-stage Human King of the Cloud Mountain Sect, carrying a great many treasures out of the vault.
Elder Chen’s joyful expression instantly turned to despair and rage upon seeing Zhou Yunhao and Qin Feng approaching, his voice trembling with fury.
Clang!
With a sharp flick of his palm, Qin Feng unleashed a blast of energy that pierced straight through Elder Chen’s forehead, extinguishing his life.
Boom!
Huang Tianlong acted swiftly as well, killing Zhou Yunhao without hesitation.
“Truly a sect with five Human Emperor-level experts,” Qin Feng murmured, stepping confidently into the treasure vault. “The treasures here outnumber those of the Datong Imperial Court by twice as much.”
His eyes shone with delight and excitement as he gazed upon the magnificent hoard.
“This item is placed in the deepest part of the vault—clearly the most precious. I wonder what it is?”
At the vault’s deepest chamber, Qin Feng found a jade box made of white jade and lifted it carefully.
“A five-thousand-year spiritual herb!”
Opening the jade box, he saw a single herb inside, surrounded by five white halos.
His eyes narrowed sharply as joy erupted on his face. “A fine treasure!”
He quickly closed the jade box and carefully tucked it into his bosom.
“Tianlong, go outside and have Hua, the sect leader of the Mountain and Water Sect, summon his disciples to transport these treasures back to the Great Chu Imperial Court,” Qin Feng commanded as he approached a set of secret scrolls laid aside.
“Yes, Your Majesty the Qin Emperor,” Huang Tianlong replied loyally, having been deeply impressed by Qin Feng’s overwhelming power, and hurried off.
Qin Feng flipped through the scrolls—The Luo King Immortal Technique—a cultivation method for the Human Emperor realm.
After perusing it carefully, he placed it aside.
Techniques for the Human Emperor realm were incredibly precious. Even if he could not use it himself, he could sell it to exchange for more spiritual herbs.
A cultivation manual for the Human Emperor realm would undoubtedly attract fierce competition from Human King-level experts.
Hua Yunliang dared not disobey Qin Feng’s orders and swiftly gathered the sect’s disciples.
...
Qin Feng collected the most precious treasures from the vault before striding outside.
He instructed Hua Yunliang and Huang Tianlong to send plenty of weapons.
Now that his strength had risen to eight million eight hundred thousand jin, wielding the Fangtian Halberd weighing six hundred thousand jin felt somewhat light.
“Divine Skill: Heavenly Fiend Devouring Weapon Technique!”
Qin Feng settled cross-legged and began circulating his cultivation technique, channeling his true energy into the divine skill talisman.
The talisman radiated brilliant light as the Heavenly Fiend Devouring Weapon Technique surged forth from his dantian.
Its dazzling glow enveloped the weapons, armor, and the Fangtian Halberd.
Under the shining talisman’s illumination, the weapons and armor melted rapidly, their most refined essences fusing into the halberd.
