Name: Qin Feng
Realm: Transforming Force
Strength: 8,200 jin (+)
Qin Feng gazed at his personal interface, his fingers rapidly tapping the plus sign after the number 8,200.

Numbers continued to pop up behind his strength, and the figure quickly changed—8,201 jin, 8,202 jin… 8,212 jin…
“That’s enough!”
The moment Qin Feng sensed a tense feeling within his body, he stopped tapping, his eyes focusing on the interface.
Name: Qin Feng
Realm: Transforming Force
Strength: 10,000 jin (+)
“Ten thousand jin.”
“I have already surpassed the Grandmaster realm; heading to the City Lord’s Mansion is more than enough. Even if the Mansion is a lair of dragons and tigers, I have not the slightest fear.”
Feeling the overwhelming power surging through his body, Qin Feng’s lips curled into a broad smile. He softly muttered,
“Greetings, Lord Qin.”
“Greetings, Lord Qin.”
The guards from the City Lord’s Mansion arrived carrying a sedan chair to receive Qin Feng. Seeing him emerge from his chamber, they cupped their hands, bowed deeply, reverent and respectful.
“Let us go to the City Lord’s Mansion; let us not keep the City Lord waiting.”
Qin Feng nodded and stepped toward the sedan chair.
“Lift the chair!”
Four robust guards hoisted Qin Feng and swiftly made for the City Lord’s Mansion.
After Qin Feng departed, Wang Fu, Wang Bao, and Liu Hu followed his orders and hurried to Wei Yuan Escort Agency.
Qin Feng feared that after he left, some martial artists might target Wang Fu, Wang Bao, and Liu Hu, so he had instructed them to head to the escort agency for safety.
“Lord Qin, you came quickly indeed. The City Lord has waited for you so long, even the flowers are wilting.”
Huang Chengjun strode out from the City Lord’s Mansion. Upon seeing Qin Feng arrive, he stared at him with arrogance and a mocking smile.
“Smack!”
Qin Feng looked at Huang Chengjun, noticing the arrogance and the sneer on his face. He strode forward, and upon reaching him, delivered a resounding slap.
“Bang.”
Huang Chengjun was sent flying by Qin Feng’s slap, crashing heavily to the ground.
Though Huang Chengjun was a martial artist of the Transforming Force, a formidable one at that, he had no ability to withstand Qin Feng’s blow and was instantly struck down.
“How dare you!”

Huang Chengjun’s lips were split, three teeth knocked out. He growled in a low voice, his eyes burning with fury as he glared at Qin Feng.
“Clang!”
“Clang!”
“Clang!”

The guards stationed around the City Lord’s Mansion saw Qin Feng strike Huang Chengjun and swiftly drew their swords from their waists, glaring at Qin Feng.
Though they glared fiercely, none dared approach him, their hearts filled with dread at the presence of a Guardian-level powerhouse.
Such terrifying combat strength inspired awe and fear.
“You dare attack me? This is a provocation against the City Lord’s Mansion. I will report to the City Lord and have you executed!”
Huang Chengjun could hardly believe Qin Feng would dare lay hands on him. He roared furiously at Qin Feng.
“Do you know I am the Guardian?”
“Do you know the Grandmaster’s privilege? A Grandmaster cannot be insulted; those who insult a Grandmaster will be slain without mercy!”
“Today I have spared your life, already giving due respect to Lord Yun. If you provoke me again, I shall kill you, and I doubt Lord Yun will object.”
Qin Feng squinted his eyes at Huang Chengjun, recognizing his deliberate hostility, and spoke coldly.
“You!”
Huang Chengjun clenched his fists and glared at Qin Feng.
“Smack!”
Yet again, Qin Feng slapped Huang Chengjun across the face, making him stagger and nearly fall.
“Has Lord Yun never taught you how to face a Grandmaster?”
A murderous intent stirred within Qin Feng’s heart as he gazed deeply at Huang Chengjun.
“Lord Qin, please!”
Huang Chengjun shook his head. His face twisted with rage, but after a moment, the fierce look faded. He bowed and invited Qin Feng inside.
“Next time you disrespect me, I will cut you down.”
Qin Feng bent slightly, his eyes penetrating as he spoke each word slowly, then strode into the City Lord’s Mansion.
Huang Chengjun’s fists trembled, his face contorted, his heart ablaze with wrath.
He commanded the Guard Corps and even held some authority over the Black Iron Guards. No one had ever dared treat him so rudely.
Within Xuanzhou City, the two Guardians, Zhao Hong and Chen Haicheng, would always treat him with utmost courtesy and respect.
Yet today, he had suffered a humiliating disgrace.
Huang Chengjun glared at Qin Feng’s retreating figure, swearing to avenge this humiliation in the future.
“Get over here and lead the way.”
Qin Feng turned and gave a cold glance at Huang Chengjun.
“Yes.”
Suppressing his hatred, Huang Chengjun led Qin Feng toward where Yun Qing was waiting.
“Reporting to the City Lord, Lord Qin has arrived.”

Huang Chengjun escorted Qin Feng to the great hall, cupped his hands, and announced loudly.
“Enter!”
Yun Qing’s dignified voice echoed from within the hall.
“Please!”
Huang Chengjun bowed to invite Qin Feng inside.
“Very good!”
Qin Feng strode into the hall. Inside, it was spacious and empty, save for Yun Qing alone.
Yun Qing sat high above, surveying those below, his aura powerful and oppressive.
“Commander Huang, you may leave.”
Yun Qing waved at Huang Chengjun, dismissing him.
“As you command.”
Huang Chengjun bowed and retreated.
“Lord Qin, you struck my man within the City Lord’s Mansion. Are you not showing me too little respect?”
Once Huang Chengjun had gone, Yun Qing’s expression darkened, his presence even more intimidating as he spoke coldly.
Nothing that happened within the Mansion escaped his notice; he had already heard of Qin Feng’s beating of Huang Chengjun.
“Do not blame me, City Lord. I bear you no ill will.”
“It was only that Commander Huang lacked manners, so I took it upon myself to educate him, lest he embarrass you in the future.”
Qin Feng ignored Yun Qing’s oppressive aura, his face relaxed, eyes meeting Yun Qing’s as he spoke calmly.
“Lord Qin, you overstep your bounds. The people of the City Lord’s Mansion are not yours to discipline.”
Yun Qing’s face grew darker, his tone icy.
He could see Qin Feng had no intention of backing down and showed no reverence for the City Lord’s Mansion, barely acknowledging him.
“Is that so?”
“I do not agree!”
“Remember my words, City Lord: whoever dares provoke me, I will kill them.”
“I give you face, and you must give me face. If you interfere again with the Wei Yuan Escort Agency, I’ll cut it to pieces!”
Qin Feng strode toward Yun Qing, his voice rising.
“Insolence!”
“How dare you threaten me!”
Yun Qing roared, kicking the table before him aside and launching a punch at Qin Feng.
“Excellent!”
Qin Feng snorted coldly, stepped forward, and sent his own punch crashing forth.
