Just then, Wanda suddenly sensed magical fluctuations at the entrance.

"Oh no! Kaecilius is here!" Wanda led the way as they rushed out of the Hong Kong Sanctum, with the others following closely behind.

Upon reaching the outside, they saw Kaecilius and his four subordinates gathering a massive golden orb of energy, which they then launched toward the Hong Kong Sanctum.

Without hesitation, Wanda used a blast of red energy to intercept the golden orb. Wong, Mordo, Li, and the other sorcerers charged at Kaecilius’s four followers, engaging them in battle.

Wanda held the energy orb at bay with a crimson magical barrier, but Kaecilius increased the output, striving to shatter her defense.

"You again!" Kaecilius gritted his teeth as he glared at Wanda, though he had anticipated that she would be guarding the sanctuary.

"I won't let you escape this time," Wanda said firmly, staring back at him.

"Ha! I knew you would be here. Did you think I wouldn't be prepared?" No sooner had Kaecilius spoken than three more of his followers appeared on the other side of the street. They, too, had gathered a massive golden orb of energy and fired it toward the other side of the Hong Kong Sanctum.

Wanda raised her right hand to form a second energy shield to intercept the attack, but maintaining the first shield against Kaecilius’s primary assault had already drained most of her magical strength.

The second shield lasted only a dozen seconds before shattering. The energy orb slammed into the Hong Kong Sanctum, triggering a massive explosion that instantly reduced the three-story structure to rubble.

The local citizens of Hong Kong, who had been watching these strangely dressed people seemingly conjure fireballs—wondering if it was some kind of magic trick—only realized the terrifying reality once the sanctuary exploded.

Countless people on the streets began to scream and scramble away; the area in front of the Hong Kong Sanctum descended into utter chaos.

"It's over! Earth is going to fall completely!" Mordo and Wong exclaimed in despair as they looked at the destroyed sanctuary.

"Ah!!!" Summoning all her strength, Wanda enveloped the second energy orb in red light and hurled it into the sky.

The massive golden orb detonated in the air, the deafening roar startling the fleeing crowds below. Thankfully, there were no high-rise buildings in the immediate vicinity, and the explosion caused no further structural damage.

Suddenly, the sky turned purple. A vast expanse of violet energy spread across the horizon, blotting out the sun. Within the swirling purple clouds, countless massive, dark-red planets appeared, linked together by dark matter.

From outer space, one could see a dark-purple dimension encroaching upon the Earth, slowly wrapping around it.

This was the Dark Dimension. With only one sanctuary remaining on Earth and Dormammu sensing that the Ancient One’s life was at its end, the entity had descended. It could finally claim the planet it had coveted for so long.

Hong Kong served as the epicenter of the Dark Dimension's arrival. Everyone in the city looked up to see the dark-purple space filled with interconnected planets, the void swallowing the buildings as if the world were coming to an end.

"Hahahaha! Earth is finally becoming one with the Dark Dimension. All of humanity shall become eternal. This sight is truly beautiful!" Kaecilius laughed maniacally as he gazed at the sky.

Mordo, Wong, and Li were paralyzed by despair, seeing no way to fight back. With Dormammu about to descend and the Sorcerer Supreme's fate unknown, it truly seemed to be the end of the world.

Wanda looked up at the dark-purple expanse with mounting anxiety. She was out of options, and even if Arthur returned, he likely wouldn't be a match for Dormammu.

A dark shadow emerged within the purple void above. From far below, one could see the shadow open two colossal eyes. It was Dormammu. The entity was so immense that even within the dark-purple space, only its face was discernible from a distance.

Dormammu’s face was larger than a planet, composed entirely of dark energy. Ripples of energy pulsed across its features, radiating a profound and ancient mystery, while its eyes glowed with a kaleidoscopic, terrifying light that filled anyone who looked upon it with dread.

Kaecilius and his cultists knelt, chanting rhythmically as they awaited their master's arrival.

"I have to stop it!" Red energy erupted from Wanda as she took flight, soaring toward Dormammu in the dark-purple void.

"Wanda!" Mordo shouted, watching her fly toward her doom. He knew it was futile; she could never defeat Dormammu.

Wanda plunged into the dark space and came face-to-face with the gargantuan entity. Despite her fear, she knew she had to stand her ground to prevent Dormammu from consuming the Earth.

"Dormammu! Leave this world! You do not belong here!" Wanda shouted, hovering in the void.

"Ha, a mere ant dares speak to me so? Your world is mine! All worlds are mine!" Dormammu’s voice resonated as if emanating from the void itself.

Countless spikes of dark matter rained down upon her. Enveloped in her red energy, Wanda darted through the purple void, dodging the deadly barrage.

She flew past planet after planet, the dense swarm of dark-matter spikes trailing her like a serpent, seeking to tear her apart.

Her magical shield was already bristling with impaled spikes. Realizing she couldn't keep this up, she stopped and turned to face the onslaught, forming a plan.

Just as the dark matter was about to reach her, Wanda used her Sling Ring to trace a circle in the air. A red portal the size of a football field opened before her.

The dark matter surged into the portal, which Wanda used to redirect the projectiles into deep space.

As the last of the spikes vanished, she closed the portal. Before she could catch her breath, a massive wave of purple energy blasted toward her.

Wanda leapt aside, barely dodging the beam—a ray of dark energy fired directly from Dormammu’s mouth.

Dormammu opened its mouth again, unleashing a second blast of purple energy, even larger than the first—as thick as a small planet. There was no escaping this one.

Wanda was forced to expand a red energy shield the size of a basketball court to withstand the impact. But Dormammu’s energy was inexhaustible. The beam continued to hammer against her, intensifying rather than fading.

Wanda had been holding on for two minutes. The relentless energy buffeted her shield, and she felt the temperature plummeting, frost forming on her hair. Her stamina and magical reserves were nearly depleted.

As her shield began to flicker and fail, she thought in despair, *Am I going to die here?* She felt a deep sense of loss that she wouldn't be by Arthur’s side at the end.

At that critical moment, a massive blue portal opened beside her, and an equally immense surge of blue energy erupted from it, slamming into Dormammu!

*ROAR!!!*

The strike hit Dormammu square in the face, shattering its concentration and cutting off the purple energy beam. Dormammu let out a deafening roar.

Wanda let out a sigh of relief, her strength abandoning her as she began to collapse.

Suddenly, a figure appeared, catching her by the waist before she hit the ground.

"I’m late, Wanda." It was Arthur. Having returned from the Water Dimension, he had immediately sensed the attack on the sanctuary and teleported to Hong Kong.

Seeing Wanda confronting Dormammu in the sky, he felt a brief moment of relief—he had made it in time.

"Arthur, you're here. But what do we do? We're no match for it!" Wanda said, touching his face.

Arthur glanced at the enraged Dormammu in the distance and summoned a blue portal.

"Leave it to me. You need to rest." With those words, Arthur pushed Wanda through the portal.

"Arthur!!!" Before the portal closed, she saw a massive wave of purple energy surging toward him, and then she tumbled onto a sandy beach—the coast of New York.

Wanda struggled to rise, desperate to return to Arthur. She couldn't let him face this alone!

But she was utterly exhausted; she couldn't even summon the strength to create another portal. She lay on the sand, gasping for air, waiting for her strength to return so she could rush back to help him.
