“!!!!”

The sudden sound made Wu Xian shudder all over, and he even instinctively wanted to use the evasive technique "Lazy Donkey Rolling" to create a safe distance from the source.

However, in the next moment, a flood of unfamiliar memories and information suddenly exploded in his mind, causing him to freeze in place. He could only passively accept everything wholesale, then slowly and carefully sort it all out...

After a moment, Wu Xian regained clarity, and a look of sudden realization appeared on his previously confused face.

“So that's how it is.”

“Looks like you’ve figured it all out… Heh, I have to admit, this ability is quite convenient, saves us the trouble of explaining further.”

Hearing the teasing laughter behind him, Wu Xian turned around helplessly, and the next second, two figures with completely different styles appeared before his eyes.

One was a young man with short black hair, around seventeen or eighteen years old, dressed in a sleek black battle armor that gave off a strong futuristic warrior vibe.

He had a tall, upright posture, well-toned and symmetrical physique, his skin glowing like jade, paired with an exceptionally exquisite and handsome face. He was undoubtedly a standout beauty of this chaotic era, just needing one or two more years of cultivation to officially debut. Compared to those idols on TV, he was far superior.

As for the other figure, he was even more extraordinary.

Clad in cotton cloth, wearing a tiger-skin skirt, standing barefoot, holding a willow wood staff, and most strikingly, he had a furry monkey-like face with a thunder god’s mouth.

No! Not just resembling a monkey—this was literally a monkey!

Wu Xian’s gaze flickered back and forth between the man and the monkey, his expression complicated. After a long while, he finally exhaled deeply.

“To think such a thing could happen… Honestly, even after accepting those memories, it’s hard to believe. It feels like a dream.”

“In fact, you really are dreaming now. But when you wake up, you’ll be even more certain that everything happening here is real.”

The handsome youth in black armor smiled slightly, then gently extended his right hand.

“Though you’ve already shared memories, I’d still like to introduce myself.”

“I am Wu Xian, currently living in the world of Devouring Starry Sky, affiliated with the Extreme Martial Hall, with the rank of a junior battle general… Nice to meet you, my other self from another world.”

---

“Same here!”

As soon as the young man finished speaking, the monkey beside him chimed in, though its monkey face was stiff and showed no sign of happiness.

“Well, I’m also glad to meet you both. Honestly, especially after entering the main god space, with your help, my survival chances in this hellhole should improve.”

Wu Xian shook hands with the black-armored youth, then glanced around and sighed.

“Crossing over simultaneously, huh? Didn’t expect my golden finger to be this. I really don’t know if I’m riding the trend or if it’s time to patch the version.”

It turned out that Wu Xian hadn’t merely crossed into the world of Infinite Terror. The colorful lightning that descended from the sky in his memories, though it destroyed his body, transported his soul into a mysterious higher-dimensional space.

Then, the special energy within this space replicated his soul into multiple almost identical independent individuals, detaching from the original cosmic crystal barrier and scattering irregularly across the multiverse.

For example, the man and the monkey before him were all versions of Wu Xian himself.

The black-armored youth crossed into the world of Devouring Starry Sky. His origin was still his parents’ sacrificial ceremony, but in childhood, he was adopted by a martial artist from the Extreme Martial Hall.

Thanks to his outstanding spiritual power talent and the training from that martial artist, Wu Xian smoothly became a psychic, officially joining the Extreme Martial Hall. He recently broke through to junior battle general status and was regarded as a young prodigy.

As for the monkey, it was even more remarkable.

According to the memories, he crossed into the world of Black Myth: Wukong, born on Flower-Fruit Mountain, learning staff techniques from an old monkey master for over twenty years. Recently, he took on the mantle of the destined one and was leveling up in Black Wind Mountain, mercilessly beating the countless minor demons there, earning the nickname “Staff God of Black Wind Mountain”!

Well, in reality, this guy was just afraid of pain and death, so he wanted to max out his level in the newbie village. Once his staff technique was perfected, he planned to come out and wreak havoc, inheriting the title of Great Sage, Smashing the Heavenly Court, Treading the Spiritual Mountain, and then going to the Spider Cave to marry the fourth sister… Just thinking about it made Wu Xian a bit excited!

“You look like a poker-faced monkey, but surprisingly, you’re quite the introverted flirt. I wasn’t like this before…”

Recalling the memories and some inner thoughts shared by the monkey, Wu Xian couldn’t help but feel a headache and refused to believe that they were once the same person.

“It’s simple. If you spend twenty years living with a bunch of monkeys, you’d become introverted too.”

The monkey replied calmly. It was clear that their shared memories weren’t detailed minutiae; most were related to their respective cultivation and significant experiences. The rest were merely touched on, like watching a movie from a god’s perspective, lacking deep immersion.

Otherwise, if they remembered everything clearly, even if their spiritual power could hold up, Wu Xian and the others might risk personality splits. That would be a huge mess.

---

Meanwhile, besides exchanging memories, this pure white space also inherited the most crucial function of the “simultaneous flow”—sharing each self’s power across different worlds.

Using the man and the monkey as examples, the Wu Xian from the Devouring world contributed his strong spiritual power and impressive physique, along with various martial arts and psychic cultivation methods and experience.

The destined one from Black Myth, besides basic physical fitness, brought increasingly exquisite staff techniques and divine magic similar to immobilization spells… All of these were duplicated and pasted onto the Wu Xian existing in the world of Infinite Terror!

Of course, like some petty-minded originator of the “simultaneous flow,” this sharing wasn’t without limits. Most cross-dimensional powers couldn’t manifest in their original forms.

For instance, though the Devouring world Wu Xian’s psychic power was based on spirituality and theoretically applicable across many worlds, the actual effect was different.

At least, experiments by the destined one Wu Xian showed that while he could use psychic power to manipulate objects in the Black Myth world, it felt sluggish and far less effortless than in the Devouring world. Without psychic weapons to assist, the power was far below expectations, and it was simpler to just swing the staff a few more times.

Similarly, the Devouring world Wu Xian couldn’t use immobilization spells effectively; if anything, their effects were greatly diminished.

He had secretly tested this, and even at full force, he couldn’t keep a stray dog immobilized for half a second, which also consumed large amounts of spiritual power. Calling it a mere trifle was generous; it was basically useless.

But this setup was reasonable. Each world had its own laws, and everything existed under these laws. Even golden fingers couldn’t conjure something that didn’t exist out of thin air.

Otherwise, the resulting imbalance in combat power would be a huge problem—no one would want to read a novel with that.

Fortunately, even so, it was still overpowered enough. As long as more Wu Xians entered the space in the future, simply stacking attributes would allow each to become peerless masters in their own worlds, crushing everything with brute force.

“Though this isn’t absolute. If the power system of a world is inherently chaotic, maybe we can fully use all our abilities.”

The Devouring world Wu Xian said this, then locked his burning gaze onto the newly arrived reincarnated Wu Xian.

“For example, Marvel, DC, and also… Infinite Terror!”
