Chapter 55 He Wants to Devour Her
“Qin Youtian, what are you trying to do?” Hua Qinci was dragged into the room by him, unable to resist.
Qin Youtian flung her onto the bed with a forceful toss.
“What’s wrong with you? Are you crazy?” Hua Qinci struggled to her feet, her eyes blazing with anger.
“I’m crazy?” Qin Youtian smiled coldly, then shut the door behind him.
“What do you want?” Hua Qinci was frightened by the dangerous glint in his eyes and instinctively stepped back.
“What do I want? Don’t you know?” Qin Youtian reached out and lifted her chin.
“I don’t know!” Hua Qinci retorted, furious.
“Didn’t you say you wanted a divorce? What’s wrong? Are you scared now?”
“No, no, it’s not that—we can talk this out, really. Impulsiveness is the devil. Besides, your cousin Liu Bingbing is still waiting for you.”
Hua Qinci knew that Qin Youtian had changed again. There was nothing she feared except when he changed like this.
“Heh, you dare mention my cousin? Don’t think others don’t know what you’ve done.” With that, Qin Youtian violently tore at her clothes, exposing her pale skin.
He paused, nearly entranced by the sight. Driven by instinct, he was surprised Hua Qinci hadn’t tried to dodge.
“You’re looking for trouble!” Hua Qinci, desperate, revealed three silver needles and thrust them at his neck.
Just as she was about to succeed, Qin Youtian grabbed her hand tightly, forcing the needles to drop to the floor.
“Don’t think I’m afraid of you. I’ve only tolerated you because you’re a woman.” Qin Youtian pulled again, tearing off her clothes until all she had left was an embroidered camellia corset.
“Ah! Are you sick? You scoundrel!” Hua Qinci covered her chest, retreating in panic.
“Let me tell you, divorce is impossible in this lifetime. But you have me—do you want me or not?”
Seeing her blush and cower, Qin Youtian raised his brows in triumph and pressed himself closer.
Today, he would finally make this wildcat, who had always belonged to him, wholly his, so she’d stop dreaming of escape.
He lifted her chin, his handsome face drawing near in a haze of desire.
Hua Qinci’s eyes narrowed and her lips curled. “Hmph, you’re asking for it.”
She gripped a stone in her hand, and suddenly smashed it toward his head. She’d prepared it out of fear for nights like this, never expecting to use it now.
A muffled groan escaped him, his brows furrowing.
“Hua Qinci.” He spoke through clenched teeth, his eyes blazing.
Hua Qinci quickly slipped out of his grasp, grabbed her outer robe, and draped it over herself.
“I told you, if you dare touch me, I’ll make you pay.”
Qin Youtian was too furious to speak, the passion in his gaze gone.
“Fine. Wait a moment—I’ll write you a divorce letter and we’ll be done.”
“Don’t you dare!” Qin Youtian growled, clutching his throbbing head.
“Whether I dare or not isn’t up to you. Don’t think that just because you’ve seen my body, I’ll fear you. I’ve seen yours too. That makes us even.”
Ignoring the stormy expression on Qin Youtian’s face, Hua Qinci went to fetch paper and brush.
Qin Youtian strode over, seized her, and forced her onto the bed, his massive frame pressing against her slender waist.
Hua Qinci felt as if Mount Tai had fallen upon her. She flailed her tiny hands, pushing and hitting him to no avail.
Qin Youtian produced a rope from somewhere, grasped her delicate wrist, wrapped it tightly several times, and tied it to the bedpost.
He repeated the process with her other wrist and ankles.
Hua Qinci struggled fiercely, but it was useless.
“Let me go!”
Qin Youtian’s eyes glimmered with amusement. “This time, you can’t escape, can you? Hmm?” He pressed his burning lips to hers, his passion raging and unrestrained.
Hua Qinci was powerless, unable even to cry out. All she could do was shed helpless, aggrieved tears.
