The big black dog cried out in pain, its body thrashing violently as it tried to shake Su Yang off. Its face twisted into an even more savage expression.
“Junyi has rendered great service. I shall reward him handsomely!” the old lady Zhang declared as she walked toward the entrance of the hall.
This was a disaster. They had no choice but to unveil the holographic technology, yet their research had barely scratched the surface.
The lucky winner of tens of millions in lottery money had actually been a customer at his shop. His story was spreading all over West Changling Street, and he was at the height of his fame.
Scanning customers with ultra-microscopic nanolight to calculate their health index would certainly consume a great deal of electricity.
At Wang Ling’s words, Yan Qing’s face grew ashen. Yet today was supposed to be a joyous occasion; it was not as though he could slap Wang Ling across the face.
“Then let us discuss it in private. Future, stay with Qihai for a while.” Kitagawa Temple paid no attention to the gazes of Shen Guwei Future and Qihai Qiaonai. He merely signaled to Qiuxiao Yuna with his eyes, indicating that she should follow him.
Although holding a steady job could provide him with some additional income, his current need for money was not particularly great.
Wang the Carpenter was dead now. One could still see the meat he had failed to spit out in his mouth. He had been bitten to death alive.
Tang Ruo possessed a flawless appearance and extraordinary methods. Whatever the occasion, she was always astute and socially adept.
Gu Xi lowered her head and curled herself up, enduring the bone-piercing pain as tears streamed down her face. Her mind was filled with only one thought: she would devour Prince Ning.
Xia Wu extended his right hand. Chakra gathered at his fingertip, condensing into a needle, and he gently tapped the Cloud Ninja’s hand.
Zhu Su smiled at him. He had originally intended to reveal his mediocre medical skills to Dai Sigong in their entirety, hoping that they might help the renowned physician advance his craft even further.

With a clatter, the elite imperial guards of Great Ming moved in perfect unison. Their longbows pointed upward at a forty-five-degree angle, and the collision of their armor plates produced a single ringing sound that set the heart trembling.
A man with a head full of silver hair but a youthful face was leaning on a branch, walking alone with slow, lonely steps.
Li Miao even felt that Jia Jing had nearly turned a clever trick into a blunder. Who would have thought that an object capable of blocking spiritual perception could be used in such a way? If Li Miao had not been there, who could have discovered the secret hidden inside the mounting stone?
There were now even more civilians gathered around them, all pointing and whispering. Their imposing momentum weakened accordingly.
Now that he finally possessed a genuine medical ninjutsu scroll, he could at last learn how chakra was used to heal injuries.
“Silly girl, you will have one. When the time comes, your Prince Charming will leap right to your side,” Peony said, stroking Bing Lianxin’s forehead.
The Thunderclap Demon Sword was the knot in her heart—or one might even call it an inner demon. The Young Master of Buried Flowers slew it. After a single melody played on the xiao, the knot in her heart dissolved silently and imperceptibly. It was extraordinarily mysterious.
Sensing the sweetness in his mouth, the fire in Lin Jingyi’s heart blazed up once more. Tonight was destined to be a sleepless night.
The sixth day of the first lunar month, during the third quarter of the Chen hour. Scarlet sunlight poured across the earth, illuminating the congealed river of blood and erasing the brutality of the slaughter. New vitality returned to the mountains and rivers.
After a moment of stunned silence, Tang Xinyu stopped caring and began shouting abuse. He had always possessed a fiery temper and was now truly enraged. Otherwise, he would never have earned the title of the school’s notorious troublemaker. Although Xia Zi had restrained him and he had changed considerably, those changes were merely superficial.
Whoosh! A streak of golden light slipped through the gaps between the whip blades and knocked a lock of Duan Bei’s hair loose. While evading the attack, Xie Tong had calculated the opening and struck with Radiant King Break.
Tu Lei and the others chatted and debated every subject under the sun. Yue Chen walked silently ahead, constantly observing both sides of the main road. When he spotted a tavern, he hesitated for a moment before entering.
“Why didn’t you say so earlier…” Xie Tong muttered as he circulated his cultivation technique, surrounding the leaf fragments in his stomach with radiant spiritual energy. Moments later, a thread of exceedingly faint aura seeped from the remnants into Xie Tong’s spiritual energy. It was assimilated without the slightest resistance, proving far easier to absorb than Long Dou’s spiritual energy.

Huang Yueying felt a profound unreality. This had originally been intended as a single battle. Once Liu Bei recovered his wits, he would immediately change course and flee toward Wuxiang to join forces with Wang Ping’s army. Yet beneath the city gates, more and more soldiers defected, expanding the battle formation from three thousand men to ten thousand. In the end, it became an enormous battle array.
“Master, Master, shall Dongli deal with this treacherous fellow for you?” Although Ye Tianxun had not yet officially become the master of the tomb grounds, Dongli had clearly already acknowledged him as her master and was eager to curry his favor.
No one knew whether it was because Mu Nian was absent or for some other reason, but Mu De had not come to trouble Gong Yu even once during the entire week.
Many people believed that a Taoist’s jade seal was carved by a craftsman whom the Taoist had found himself. In truth, that was not the case.
After asking his question, he glared at Murong Tianyi in displeasure, as though blaming him: You frightened my little sister Yun.
Lu Siying had also tried to escape, but the Benkou Organization’s influence in Japan was far too powerful. She simply could not escape that old man’s grasp. Every time she fled and was caught, she was inevitably beaten viciously, then forced to continue enduring the old man’s abuse.
In other words, all she had summoned for now was the spirit of the Divine Farmer Cauldron. She had not actually made the Divine Farmer Cauldron acknowledge her as its master.
Gazing at my father lying amid the rubble, I felt as though my heart were being torn apart. My fists clenched tightly, and I longed to rush forward and beat Wu Yu into the ground—ideally so thoroughly that even his dead mother would no longer recognize him.
The nine teammates adjusted their expressions in perfect understanding and silently followed behind Lang Tao, each of them wearing an utterly solemn look.
